Meet Our Expanded Bank of America Team

2021-10-11

Big projects demand big (and talented) teams.

That’s exactly what we’ve put together for our upcoming Bank of America projects -- a continuation of our ongoing partnership with the financial institution.

Say hello to some familiar faces and some new ones. We are scaling up a dream team to fit the precise needs of our partner on some exciting work.

NEW & RETURNING TEAM MEMBERS

JOSH WAYNE“Opinions on design are like paint. Mix them all together and you get something that looks remarkably like s#*t." These profound words come from our new Lead UX, Josh Wayne (we happen to agree with him, by the way). Josh fell in love with UX Design almost 15 years ago and has worked with clients from Google to Kaiser Permanente, and Underarmour to LPGA since that time. When he’s not leading our UX teams to deliver exceptional quality design work, he can be found on one of his annual international trekking trips to some places you might have heard of. You know, like Everest Basecamp, Nepal, Torres del Paine, Patagonia, or Machu Picchu, Peru.PAIGE FALLERIf our new Producer Paige Faller is not at her desk ensuring success between our team and our partners, it’s because she’s hiking the backcountry around Truckee. An avid lover of the mountains and the ocean, Paige fits right in with the Metajive team. She earned her stripes as a producer and EP in the ad agency world at Crispin Porter Bogusky and Goodby Silverstein & Partner and deepened her experience in smaller agencies and branding shops before finding her way to Metajive. We’re happy she found us!MARC CRUZMarc Cruz is known for creating some of the best places to shop online -- just ask Conde Naste, HypeBeast, and Complex, who have featured his work in that category. And with experience as deep as his, it’s no wonder. Marc has been a Creative Director for 17 years and a Product Designer for 21 years and has a multi-disciplinary background from software engineering to object-oriented programming and enterprise database design. He’s worked on mobile apps with dozens of the most recognizable brands in entertainment such as NBC Universal, CBS, Warner Brothers, Univision, NASCAR, The NFL, Oprah Winfrey Network, and more. We’re thrilled to welcome Marc as our Design Director, leading our teams in the strategic UX and design of digital experiences.BEN GIBBSA love of dogs. Well, of dogs and User Experience, actually. That’s what you need to know about Ben Gibbs, our new Experience Designer. When Ben’s not chilling with his dog, exercising with his dog, or volunteering in Mexico with -- you guessed it -- his dog, he’s doing a fabulous job of bringing a fresh set of eyes and a valuable perspective to our entire team. Ben plays an integral role in optimizing user journeys from beginning to end.MYUNGKYU MICHAEL LEE“Just start! Literally press F, make a frame, and start putting stuff in it.”Dance teacher. Master smoothie bowl maker. And Metajive's new UX Designer. Say hello to the wonderfully well-rounded Michael Lee. Michael joined Metajive having worked his way up the UX ladder within a startup and brings plenty of valuable experience to the team. We’re thrilled to have him on board, helping make our digital experiences usable, enjoyable and accessible for all.

FAMILIAR FACES (Current Employees)

MATT HEIDENREICHAs a Senior Experience Designer located in St. Louis, Matt Heidenreich gets an early start on the day’s UX & design work before we’ve even had our morning brew here in San Diego. When not designing, he’s raising two daughters, streaming movies, and spending time outside with the family.KYLE MARTINKyle Martin, an uber talented UX Designer, loves how everything from movies to books, and comics to video games started as a blank piece of paper. Before becoming a visual designer, he made hip hop beats for local Californian musicians. We think that’s pretty cool.NIJAZ MURATOVICNijaz Muratovic works on our Experience Design team. When he's not immersed in the fine art of digital storytelling, he likes to dabble in architecture and interior design, or play soccer. Looking for a pick up game? Call Nijaz.
