The Adventures Group’s campaign ecosystem lacked the sophistication needed for growth. They wanted to find new customers, target the right people, and stand out with a bold, editorial travel look. The 2021 Black Friday campaign became the perfect moment to launch this new direction.
 

Refreshing the brand to resonate with a wider audience was key, but just as important was building a CRM platform for both immediate and long-term success. We implemented an automated HubSpot workflow to drive conversions and, inspired by modular web design, created dynamic email modules for the Black Friday campaign—making every send efficient and visually striking.

We refreshed the brand with bold new fonts, colors, and grid alignment, paired with striking photography and intuitive layouts that showcased quality and clear calls to action. We developed flexible building blocks and typography styles, allowing endless email combinations—no designer needed. At the same time, we simplified the checkout experience, making it clean and user-friendly.

We built a date-based workflow in HubSpot to power the 2021 Black Friday campaign, enrolling thousands of contacts and segmenting them by their past travel destinations. This let us send highly relevant offers and reminders based on real interests, retargeting customers and nudging unfinished bookings. Each email was personalized through a custom decision tree, allowing for tailored reminders and upsell opportunities unique to every traveler.

Custom reports were built in HubSpot, delivering specific, actionable insights on leads and deals for the project. This enabled better decision-making and optimized sales/marketing.

We automated marketing workflows in HubSpot—from personalized emails to advanced user targeting—dramatically increasing efficiency and unlocking personalized engagement at scale.

We set up dynamic, auto-updating lists for customer segments in HubSpot, ensuring every campaign reached the right audience—no manual work required, just accurate targeting and better results every time.

Using HubL, dynamic, personalized content was created directly from CRM data. This enhanced user experience and boosted conversions across every touchpoint.

We developed a custom email system for post-event communication, keeping attendees engaged long after their trip and supporting lasting connections that drive project goals forward.

We implemented Custom Objects in HubSpot to perfectly align CRM data with specific business needs, streamlining data management and powering more strategic execution throughout the project.

Project resultsOur HubSpot integration drove revenue up by more than 30% year-over-year, with over 2,500 campaign interactions and $1.2 million in bookings. Click-through rates surged to 6.2% for English and 10.7% for Spanish emails. Modular email templates now empower The Adventures Group to scale campaigns with ease. The newly designed checkout experience and refreshed brand identity truly reflect the caliber of their world-class tours.
